Estoy muy gratamente sorprendido por la cantidad de comentarios que en las semanas recientes han recibido varios posts de este blog, aun ya habiendo abierto la versión en Blogger (http://tiempoydestiempo.blogspot.com).
Debo agradecer a todos los que se han tomado el tiempo no sólo de leer, sino de escribir a este espacio. Todos sus consejos, apuntes, observaciones los voy tomando en cuenta. Han sido tanta la correspondencia que me siento abrumado y me resulta imposible responder a todos. Sé, estoy seguro que comprenden esto.
La tarea de escribir poco más de 20 blogs que conforman mi “revista electrónica”, no es nada sencilla. Por lo mismo, en ocasiones algunos blogs los dejo un poco abandonados. Ha sido el caso de este, no obstante no deja de llamarme la atención el impulso que recientemente ha tomado a pesar de contener artículos un poco “antiguos”. La ventaja que da este blog en particular es precisamente esta: que pensé el espacio para publicar textos que fueran intemporales, que pudieran ser útiles en casi cualquier momento de la vida de los lectores.
En atención a todos ustedes, esta vez hago el experimento de redactar más breve y con versión directa al inglés, empleando el traductor de Google. No edito la versión en inglés con todo propósito, con la finalidad de abrir un poco más la puerta a la interpretación que toda traducción de cualquier texto supone, no nada más para abreviar tiempo. Es claro que la traducción automatizada no es perfecta, especialmente por razones de vocabulario y gramaticales. Pero por otra parte los avances que en especial Google ha hecho en la materia son de verdad para maravillarse. Así, tomen la traducción y jueguen con ella, hagan la respectiva corrección de estilo. Esa es una forma más de “apropiarse” del conocimiento, como nosotros los académicos decimos.

In response to all of you, this time I do the experiment of writing shorter version and English version, using the Google translator. Do not edit the English version for all purposes, in order to open a little door to the interpretation that any translation of any text is, not just for short time. It is clear that machine translation is not perfect, especially because of vocabulary and grammar. On the other hand the progress that Google has done especially in the field are really wonder. So, take the translation and play with it, make the appropriate proofreading. That is a more “appropriate” knowledge, as we academics say.
